Creative Debuts – BLACK ARTISTS GRANT
Black artists are systematically under represented and under funded, and Creative debuts are seeking to change this. Creative debuts have set up this grant on a monthly basis, where they award 4 black creatives £500 each month. This grant has no strings attached, and aims to support artists in buying equipment, affording new work, to visit exhibitions for inspiration, and the list goes on. Details can be found here.
Penguin Random House: MENTORING
Is a career in publishing beckoning you? Creative access have partnered with Penguin Random House to launch a brand spanking new, virtual mentoring programme. It’ll involve reaching early career talent from communities currently under-represented in publishing. They have 150 mentors signed up and ready to help. Click here for more info.
Mullenlowe: SUCKERS
Mullenlowe are looking for a Sucker for craft, technology and world changing ideas. To apply, you take on a challenge and impress Mullenlowe with your skills. If you succeed, you’ll receive a month virtual internship with the team, finding out the ins and outs of the advertising industry. Have a look here for more details.
Black Tech Fest: TALKS
Black Tech Fest has returned to invite black innovators in tech to give talks. They’ll be exploring several aspects of culture and innovation. If you’re interested, you can sign up here.
