SOLVE FOR TOMORROW COMPETITION – SAMSUNG

Solve for tomorrow is a nationwide competition, created to empower the UK’s next generation of innovators who want to make a positive impact in the world. You don’t need any qualifications, all you need is an idea, that uses tech and a desire to make a difference. If your idea is a new tech product/service/app that can make a difference in communities, Samsung want to know. Areas benefitted by your idea could be sustainability, education, social isolation, or diversity & inclusion, to name a few. If your idea is shortlisted, you’ll get to refine your idea with Samsung, with access to workshops, masterclasses, mentoring and so much more. DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE (RETAIL) – THE HUT GROUP

You may not have heard of them, but The Hut Group (THG) is one of the world’s fastest growing online retailers. They work with Nestle, P&G and Hotel Chocolat, to name a few. In this role, you’ll be supporting their growth strategy and helping to build brand identity across commercial platforms. You’ll get your thinking cap on, creating innovative ways to drive traffic to the client’s websites. You’ll also help manage the growth and management of digital marketing channels, such as Influencers, SEO, Content, Social Media, to name a few. THE ‘NON-GRADUATE’ JOB – RISE AT SEVEN

If you’re clued up on the hottest marketing campaigns of 2020 and 2021, you will have probably heard of rise at seven, who are currently working with huge clients, such as TikTok and PrettyLittleThing. They’ve just started a scheme called the ‘non-graduate’ role, where you take a year out and work for Rise at Seven for the next academic year, whilst the country gets back to normal. They’ll also refund you your first term of rent as an incentive. They want students to make the most of a tough situation, offering positions in PR, creative, copywriting and so much more. There’s plenty of benefits, but one of the biggest ones is that they’ll pay you a full salary and give you training you wouldn’t be able to get necessarily elsewhere during studying.
