Mr & Mrs Smith - Curation Assistant Internship

As a curation assistant at Mr and Mrs Smith Hotels, you will work alongside the Curation team to ensure the smooth contracting and onboarding of Mr & Mrs Smith’s hotel collection. This six-week summer internship allows you to gain experience analysing competitor sites and utilising Salesforce for curators to review, all remotely. This role requires familiarity with Google Drive, Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is a must), Asana and quick adoption of new databases and systems, Fluency in Spanish would be an advantage. Penguin Books - The Scheme traineeship

If you’re interested in the world of editorial, this traineeship at Penguin Books could be for you. Make your mark by spending six months between September 2023 and March 2024 working with the UK's leading publisher, gaining universally applicable skills that will equip you for wherever you go next. The scheme gives you the opportunity to delve into one of many specialities including Children’s Publicity, Vintage Editorial, Online Sales and more. You don’t need a degree, you’ll just need to be over 18 and identify as one, or both, of the following: Lower socio-economic background, Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Groups. Apply here

Siemens - Summer Placement (electronic design)

The Siemens Summer Placement allows students currently pursuing a degree in an electronic or electrical engineering discipline or similar, the opportunity to learn and work with new technological solutions which help factories reduce their carbon footprint. Within the electronic design scheme, you will gain an in-depth understanding of electronic variable speed drives for motor control and some of the industrial applications. This Placement requires having basic hands-on skills in prototyping and using basic test equipment e.g. multi-meters, and oscilloscopes. If this sound like the next step for you, apply here.

Nissan - Business Industrial Placement 

This 1-year placement starting in August 2023 provides the opportunity to get hands-on experience supporting the team of Engineers designing, developing, and testing vehicles, and working with colleagues and suppliers from all over the world. The scheme requires you to be studying Business Management, Business Information Management, Finance, Accountancy or a related subject and have An interest in working with Excel, databases and systems for data reporting and analysis. If you're determined with an inquisitive mindset, this could be the placement for you. Apply here
